MyGeoVerse Demo: Smart Assets Discovering and Guiding Users to Custom Points of Interests (POIs)

What happens when AI-powered digital assets can understand not only what is around them, but also where it is and how to guide a user there?

In this MyGeoVerse demo, recorded at Magens Bay in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, we demonstrate how Smart Assets can discover customized Points of Interest (POIs), access the information associated with those locations, interact with that content, and guide users through the physical world using augmented reality.

From Custom POIs to Discoverable Spatial Content

Using the MyGeoVerse Backoffice, our team created several customized POIs around Magens Bay and associated information with each location.

Once these POIs become part of the MyGeoVerse spatial environment, they are no longer simply markers on a map. They become discoverable spatial content that Smart Assets can identify and interact with based on the user’s location.

During the demo, a Smart Asset running within the MyGeoVerse Spatial Mobile Browser automatically discovers nearby POIs created by our team and accesses the content associated with them in the MyGeoVerse Backoffice.

The Smart Asset can then interpret that information and communicate it directly to the user.

AI That Understands Location

The important distinction is that the Smart Asset is not operating only on text or conversational context.

It also has access to spatial context.

MyGeoVerse understands the geographic position of the POIs around the user. This allows the Smart Asset to connect information with actual places in the physical environment.

A user can therefore discover what is nearby, learn about a specific location, and then ask the Smart Asset to help them get there.

Guiding Users Through Augmented Reality

Once a destination is selected, MyGeoVerse can provide spatial guidance directly within the AR experience.

In the demo, the platform displays AR directional arrows pointing toward the selected POI while simultaneously showing the distance to the destination.

Instead of switching between an AI assistant, a map application, and an AR experience, the interaction happens within the same spatial environment.

The result is a more natural form of location-based discovery:

Discover → Understand → Ask → Navigate

Connecting AI With the Physical World

This demonstration illustrates an important part of the MyGeoVerse vision.

As AI becomes increasingly integrated into mobile devices, AI glasses, and other spatial computing platforms, digital assistants will need more than conversational intelligence. They will need an understanding of the physical environment around the user.

They will need to know:

  • What places, objects, and experiences are nearby
  • What information is associated with them
  • Where they are located in the physical world
  • How to help the user interact with or navigate to them

MyGeoVerse provides the spatial layer that enables these interactions.

By combining AI-powered Smart Assets, spatial content, customized POIs, location awareness, and augmented reality navigation, MyGeoVerse enables digital intelligence to become connected to real-world places.

Geospatial Recommendations Create New Revenue Opportunities

With these capabilities, MyGeoVerse can now go beyond location discovery and navigation to provide geospatial recommendations based on where a user is, what is nearby, and the spatial context of the environment.

This opens the door to an entirely new revenue model for high-traffic venues and destinations.

Airports, cruise ship piers, shopping malls, cultural and heritage sites, museums, sports arenas, entertainment venues, and other large physical environments can use geospatial AI to recommend relevant places, services, experiences, attractions, retail locations, food and beverage options, or sponsored content directly within the user’s spatial journey.

Instead of traditional advertising that sits outside the user experience, recommendations can become part of the physical environment itself — delivered at the right place, at the right moment, and connected to the user’s immediate surroundings.

For venue operators, this creates opportunities to generate new revenue through sponsored recommendations, promoted POIs, location-based offers, premium discovery, and spatial advertising, while also helping visitors navigate and discover more of what the venue has to offer.

Toward Spatially Aware AI

The next generation of AI interfaces will not exist only inside chat windows.

They will increasingly become spatially aware, understanding where users are, what exists around them, and how digital information relates to the physical environment.

This Magens Bay demonstration is a simple example of that transition in action.

A Smart Asset discovers spatial content created by our team, understands the information associated with it, communicates that information to the user, and then uses augmented reality to guide the user through the real world.

That is the type of interaction MyGeoVerse is being built to enable.
