FMV – Kültür Sanat Teknoloji Günleri
The Culture, Art and Technology Days event, organized by the Feyziye Schools Foundation Işık Schools on May 28-30, attracted great attention from the participants.
3D works created by students were exhibited via MyGeoVerse Spatial Content Management Platform.
FMV Işık Schools became the first high school testbed partner of Open AR Cloud, marking an important milestone in bringing open spatial computing education into the classroom.
As part of the testbed program, Işık High School teachers and students received a training program introducing them to the vision of the Spatial Web, open standards, OGC GeoPose, OSCP, VPS localization, and the MyGeoVerse Spatial Content Management Platform. The program combined conceptual awareness with hands-on learning, giving participants the ability to understand how persistent and shared AR experiences can be created, placed, and viewed in the real world.
Following the training, students worked on their own 3D models and digital artworks, uploaded them to the MyGeoVerse Spatial Content Management Platform, and prepared them for placement in the physical exhibition space. One day before the event, the students visited the location, scanned the environment to enable persistent and shared AR content, and placed their digital artworks into the real-world venue.
During the “FMV Işık Schools Culture, Art and Technology Days,” visitors were able to experience the exhibition using iPads prepared by Işık High School, viewing the students’ digital artworks anchored in the physical space alongside their traditional physical artworks.
This made the event one of the world’s first hybrid exhibitions, where high school students exhibited their physical artwork and their location-based digital AR artwork together in the same exhibition environment.
