Historical Interoperability Demo at Google Campuses during W3C Immersive Web Meeting

XR Masters is proud to lead efforts in the Open Spatial Computing Platform (OSCP) initiative and the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Geopose standards.

We demonstrated (please see the video on the right) the world’s first public spatial web implementation of OGC‘ s existing open geopose standard (OGC GeoPose 1.0 Data Exchange Standard) together with another open standard (OGC Points of Interest (POI) Conceptual Model Standard) in collaboration with Augmented City and spARcle AR team under Open AR Cloud (OARC). Augmented City, another partner of OARC, provides VPS services compliant with OGC/OSCP standards. This groundbreaking achievement took place during W3C Immersive Web Face-to-Face Event at Google campuses in Mountain View in March 2025, highlighting our dedication to shaping the future of spatial computing and interoperability.

Two Spatial Web clients (SpARcl and MyGeoVerse) connect to prototypical spatial web services using open standards from OGC (GeoPose and POIs), the Khronos Group (glTF), and W3C (WebXR) as well as the Open Spatial Computing Platform (OSCP) protocols for GeoPose VPS and Spatial Discovery.
